Get books from other Missouri Libraries

The Eden-Webster Library System belongs to a consortium of libraries in Missouri called MOBIUS. This arrangement allows current Webster/Eden students, faculty, and staff in Missouri to request books from these libraries. These books must be picked up in person at Emerson, Luhr, or some other participating library in Missouri.

When you open the library catalog, there's a small link on the top that says Search MOBIUS. This leads you to the MOBIUS catalog, which you can search in the same way you search our catalog.

Each MOBIUS catalog record has two additional links. Display Holdings of MOBIUS Libraries tells you if the book is available for request and which libraries have it. REQUEST THIS ITEM initiates a request for the book.

When you request a book from MOBIUS, you'll be asked to choose a "cluster". Webster and Eden are in the BRIDGES cluster. When you enter your ID on the next screen, it asks you to add your campus code, which is EWL (for "Eden-Webster Library"). Assuming the item is available, a special courier system delivers items (free-of-charge to the user) within three to four days Monday through Friday.
