American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS)

ASIS publishes Security Management, the premier magazine in the field. A few articles from the current issue are available online. (Check out the Library's ABI/Inform Complete database for electronic access to several years of full-text articles from Security Management.) The ASIS web site also provides useful links to other Web sites and important documents.

International Institute of Security and Safety Management

Information Security Magazine

The SANS (SysAdmin, Audit, Network, Security) Institute
http://www.sans.org/: SANS was established in 1989 as a cooperative research and education organization for information security. SANS Free Security Resources links to many online resources including the Internet Storm Center, several newsletters, the Glossary of Security Terms and to the Reading Room which features over 1600 white papers in 70 categories.
