Due to the collaboration of Webster University's Library and Eden Theological Seminary's Luhr Library, Webster alumni may enjoy alumni library services at either library.

Use of the Libraries' facilities

Alumni are welcome to walk in and enjoy many of the facilities at either library. Please note that current Webster/Eden students, faculty, and staff have priority in the use of available computers, study and listening/viewing rooms.

Borrowing from the libraries

Free library cards are available to Webster graduates for use at Emerson Library and also at Eden Theological Seminary's Library.

What you can borrow...

• books
• some audio-visual materials from both libraries

What you cannot borrow but can be used in the library...

• videos and DVDs
• periodicals
• and certain other materials

To apply for a card...

• Please visit the 1st floor Service Desk at the Library or call 314-968-6952.
• All requests must be verified with the Alumni Office during business hours Monday through Friday.

Access to electronic resources

Alumni can be logged in to most electronic resources such as online periodical databases when visiting on campus at the Library or when visiting Eden Theological Seminary's Library. Due to contractual agreements, off-campus access to online databases is not available unless you are a member of the Research Fellows Program.

Getting research assistance

The librarians are available to offer assistance in answering reference questions and showing alumni how to use electronic resources. In-depth research assistance and instruction is not available.
