Using Passports, the Webster U. Library web site, for research:

• Online databases: locate articles, books, financial data, and other types of information
• Books: search the library catalog
  • Note: users at Missouri campuses may also request books via the MOBIUS catalog.
• My library account: view materials you have checked out, renew items, etc.
• eBooks: full-length academic books online
  • Most are also listed in the library catalog.)
• Videos/DVDs: videos and DVDs on many topics;
  • Note: Faculty may reserve for classroom use by completing our online video reservation form or calling the Circulation Desk at (314) 968-6952 (800-985-4279).
• Web sites: quality Internet resources on academic subjects selected by librarians
• eReserves: Faculty may post course materials online to be accessed by students
• In-house Reserves: materials kept at the 1st floor Circulation Desk in the Emerson Library
• Turnitin plagiarism database: Faculty may use Turnitin to check for plagiarism and for peer-review activities.
• RefWorks: download citations and create bibliographies in a variety of formats

Requesting Materials from Other Libraries: Interlibrary Loan Service:

• Articles: Check journals list for availability first, then submit an Article request form if not available online or at the library.
• Books: Check the library catalog and the MOBIUS catalog first, then submit a Book and book chapter request form if not otherwise available.
